The online platform "Voice of the Citizen" is a key tool of the Republic of Cyprus, which provides the Cypriot citizen with the possibility of two-way communication with the executive power.
Within the framework of participatory democracy, the Government of Cyprus, through the portal "Voice of the Citizen", will conduct Citizens' Consultative Votes on topical and major issues relating to bills and political acts it intends to implement, so as to record and take into account the general social perception on these issues.
The Platform operates under the responsibility of the Office of the Commissioner for Citizens and is another practical application of democratization of our political system as well as our society itself
