Service for the Care and Rehabilitation of Displaced Persons
The Service for the Care and Rehabilitation of Displaced Persons (YMAPE) was established after the Turkish invasion, on August 18, 1974 by a Decision of the Council of Ministers, to deal with the refugee problem that had arisen and to provide assistance and support to the displaced and affected individuals.
The implementation of the state’s refugee policy, regarding the housing of displaced persons, thus ensuring the housing of each beneficiary displaced or affected individual, has been clearly defined as a Strategic Objective within the framework of the Strategic Planning of YMAPE.
