About the Embassy

The mission of the High Commission of the Republic of Cyprus in Ottawa is mainly to promote and strengthen relations between Cyprus and Canada in every aspect. In the following are listed:

1. Diplomatic relations

Strengthening political cooperation between the two countries, maintaining dialogue on international and regional issues.

2. Economic and trade cooperation

Promotion of Cypriot products and investments in the Canadian market, supporting trade and business relations.

3. Cultural and educational diplomacy

Promoting the Cypriot cultural heritage in Canada.

4. Consular services

Providing services to Cypriot citizens in Canada (passports, certificates, legalizations, elections, etc.).

5. Support the Cypriot community

Maintaining contact with the Cypriot community, strengthening ties with Cyprus.
