The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Cairo represents Cyprus and promotes its interests in Egypt, as well as the League of Arab States, the Sudan, South Sudan, Ghana and Mali, to which it is also accredited.
Cyprus and Egypt established diplomatic relations immediately following Cyprus’ independence in 1960, and its Cairo Embassy was one of the first diplomatic missions established by Cyprus.
In addition to developing, promoting and further enhancing political, economic, energy, trade and cultural relations between Cyprus and all its countries of accreditation, the Embassy provides a wide range of consular services to Cypriot Nationals, including the members of the historical community of Egyptian Cypriots, as well as to foreigners wishing to visit or invest in Cyprus.
