Announcement by the Department of Civil Aviation regarding the use and flight of unmanned aircraft systems (drones) during firefighting

Following the recent wildfires, the Department of Civil Aviation reminds the public that during firefighting operations, the use and flight of unmanned aircraft systems (drones) is strictly prohibited, as it interferes with aerial firefighting efforts and endangers human lives.
Violations of this prohibition are subject to criminal charges and significant administrative fines.
