Announcement by the Cyprus Post regarding fraud through phishing phone messages

The Department of Postal Services (Cyprus Post) informs the public that a new fraud attempt has been observed by sending messages to mobile phones, using the name of the Cyprus Post as shown in the picture below, for lack of address and wrong postal code.
The points you should pay attention to in order to establish that the below communication is ΝΟΤ from the Cyprus Post are the following:
- Mobile messages do not refer to the official website of the Department www.cypruspost.post, but to httpsː//tinyurl.com or another website with the Cyprus Post logo possibly displayed.
- The Cyprus Post will not return or not deliver an item because of duties/taxes that have not been paid.
- Payments are not directed to the JCCSmart online payment platform, but to a different address.
