The Deputy Ministry of Tourism announces that the process of renewing the registration license for self-service establishments has begun. The whole process is completed solely through the online platform of the Deputy Ministry.

According to the relevant legislation, the application for renewal must be submitted within three (3) months prior to the expiration of the registration license, and upon renewal, it will be valid for five (5) years. Late renewal applications will not be accepted. In such cases, the applicant must apply for registration, accompanied by all the relevant documents, as required for the initial registration, which will be valid for only three (3) years. In all cases, the registration fee is €222.

According to the provisions of the relevant legislation, anyone who  operates a self-service establishment without a registration license, or whose registration license has been revoked, is guilty of an offense and, upon conviction, is subject to imprisonment not exceeding one (1) year or a fine not exceeding five thousand euros (€5,000), or both penalties, if the violation continues after the conviction, is guilty of a further offense and is subject to a further fine not exceeding two hundred euros (€200) for each day of continuation of the violation.
