The Shipping Deputy Minister congratulates the new Secretary-General of IMO

During a close session on the 18th of July 2023, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Council elected the new Secretary-General of the IMO, Mr Arsenio Antonio Dominguez Velasco, for the period 2024-2027.

The Shipping Deputy Minister of the Republic of Cyprus, Ms Marina Hadjimanoli, would like to wish the Secretary-General elect, Mr Dominguez, a very successful term of office. The Shipping Deputy Ministry of the Republic of Cyprus will continue to assist the work of the Organization in a very constructive manner and offer any possible assistance to the Secretary-General elect to the very challenging issues faced by International Shipping.
