Mental health nursing programme “Exelixis”

The “Exelixis” programme is a preventive programme for Mental Health Nursing with a focus on Public Mental Health. It aims to promote mental health and prevent addiction within the community.

The programme operates in municipalities, communities, and schools, enhancing collaboration between the Ministry of Education, Sports, and Youth, Local Government, and the Ministry of Health.

The programme provides services in the following areas:

Schools through the “Navigator-Exelixis” addiction prevention programme, along with mental empowerment programmes in primary and secondary schools, summer schools, and school camps.
In nine Municipalities island-wide based on a memorandum of cooperation (individual and group prevention meetings and experiential workshops).
