Maternal and child welfare centres

The Maternity Protection and Child Welfare Centres provide preventive services to the infant, child, and family and play an important role in maintaining and promoting Public Health for children not covered by the General Healthcare System.

Actions include information on infant and child care, vaccination coverage according to the vaccination schedule of the Ministry of Health, of infants and children, body measurements, psychomotor development tests, and visual and auditory acuity tests.
