Immediate access and harm reduction programme “TARGET”

The "TARGET" programme is a cooperative programme for immediate access and harm reduction between the Nursing Services Department, the Ministry of Health, and the Pancyprian Anti-Drug Association, within the framework of providing public health and supporting the broader strategy for developing volunteerism capacity, falling under the Ministry of Health's Good Governance policy.

The "TARGET" programme is implemented through the following interventions:

• Immediate access, daily care, and counseling services.
• Syringe exchange services and operation of an Automatic Harm Reduction Box Dispensing Machine (vending machine).
• Streetwork interventions outside of structures.
• "Hotline" services at 1402.
• The mobile care zone unit
