The President of the Republic will pay a visit to Athens

The President of the Republic, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, will travel to Athens on Friday, September 15, where he will attend a dinner hosted in his honour by the Cyprus Union of Ship Owners.

President Christodoulides will address the event, which will take place at the premises of the Cyprus Union of Ship Owners (Cyprus Tower) at 8 p.m.

The President of the Republic will refer, inter alia, to the challenges faced by the Cyprus shipping sector as well as to the comparative advantages of the Cyprus ship register and the synergies between Cyprus and Greece in the shipping sector at European as well as international level.

The President of the Hellenic Republic, Mrs Katerina Sakellaropoulou, will also attend the event.

On September 16, the President of the Republic will travel from Athens to New York to address the deliberations of the United Nations General Assembly.
