The President of the Republic received Mr Miroslav Jenča

The President of the Republic, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, received today, at the Presidential Palace, the Assistant UN Secretary General for Europe, Central Asia and Africa, Mr Miroslav Jenča.
After the meeting, which lasted for about an hour and a half, the UN official told reporters that with the President they discussed many topics. «The most important that I would mention is that the UN Secretary General is paying utmost attention to the situation on the island and with his Excellency Mr Christodoulides we discussed ways how to resume talks, this is something that is of importance to see the big picture and definitely the Secretary General will use all his good offices in order to help this process to find a solution to the Cyprus issue», he said.
Ηe also added that he had a very good meeting with President Christodoulides.
