The President of the Republic of Cyprus met with the President of the Republic of Lithuania

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, met today, 20 June 2025, with the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Mr Gitanas Nausėda, at the Presidential Palace, in Vilnius.
Following the welcoming ceremony and the performance of the national anthems, President Christodoulides signed the guest book of the Presidential Palace.
In his message, he wrote the following:
“It is a great honour to be the first President of Cyprus on a bilateral visit to the Republic of Lithuania, upon the kind invitation by President Gitanas Nausėda. I extend my deep appreciation for the warm hospitality and the opportunity to further strengthen the close ties between our two countries.
I am confident that the bonds of friendship and cooperation between our two countries will continue to strengthen, underpinned by our joint commitment to the international rules-based order. As fellow European Union (EU) members, we stand united in promoting peace, stability, and prosperity across our continent, while rejecting revisionism and aggression.
I express sincere wishes for continued prosperity and peace to the Republic of Lithuania and its people.”
