The President of the Republic of Cyprus met with the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary-General on Cyprus

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, held a meeting with the Personal Envoy of the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General on Cyprus, Ms María Ángela Holguín Cuéllar, this morning.
The meeting took place in Brussels on the sidelines of the European Council, at which the President of the Republic of Cyprus participated.
During the meeting, Ms Holguín’s endeavours as the UN Secretary-General’s Envoy, to resume negotiations on the Cyprus problem as well as achieving a solution, were discussed.
