The President of the Republic departs for Brussels

The President of the Republic, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, departs for Brussels today afternoon, to participate in the European Council Summit, due to take place on October 26-27.

Topics on the agenda of the European Council Summit include the situation in the Ukraine, Migration, External Affairs with a focus on the developments in the Middle East, as well as revising the Multiannual Financial Framework, and the Economy.

On the sidelines of the deliberations of the European Council, President Christodoulides will also participate in the European People’s Party (EPP) Summit.

The President of the Republic will be accompanied by the Government Spokesman, Mr Konstantinos Letymbiotis, and the Director of the President’s Diplomatic Office, Ms Marilena Raouna.
