“Let’s not leave our dreams turn into ashes!” – Fire Safety Week: 28 April 2025 to May 4 2025 by Cyprus Fire Service

For the 24th consecutive year, the Cyprus Fire Service and CNP Asfalistiki are joining forces in their shared effort to inform and raise public awareness about the dangers posed by fires and the protective measures against them.
With the central message “Let’s not leave our dreams turn into ashes”, Fire Safety Week will take place from 28 April 2025 to 4 May 2025, under the auspices of the Minister of Justice and Public Order of the Republic of Cyprus. The official launch of the Fire Safety Week was marked by a press conference held on 28 April 2025 at the headquarters of CNP Cyprus. Greeting remarks were given by the Minister of Justice and Public Order of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Marios Hartsiotis, the Chief Fire Officer of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Nicos Logginos, the CEO of CNP Cyprus Insurance Holdings Group, Mr Takis Phidia, and the General Manager of CNP Asfalistiki, Mr Andreas C. Stylianou.
At the event, CNP Asfalistiki presented the Cyprus Fire Service with two fire engines for children, which will be used for the Fire Service’s informative visits to schools.
The culmination of Fire Safety Week will be the open event for the public, which will take place on Saturday, 3 May 2025, from 10:00 to 15:00 at MYMALL in Lemesos. Attendees will have the opportunity to see fire engines and equipment and receive information about them, while there will be special activities for children, as well as a stilt walker. The entire event will be broadcasted live on the radio. CNP Asfalistiki and Cyprus Fire Service officers will share fire safety information and distribute symbolic gifts to the public.
