Curriculum Vitae of the new Minister of Justice and Public Order Mr Marios Hartsiotis

Mr Marios Hartsiotis was born in Lefkosia and is a graduate of the University of Athens School of Law. He registered with the Bar Assosiciation in 1988 following his internship at the office of the Attorney General. He also holds a Masters Degree (MA) in Theology from the University of Nicosia.
Since 1990 he runs his own law office in Lemesos. He attended various seminars and passed exams in the wider legal field. He is also a registered Arbitrator and a member of the Cyprus Arbitration and Mediation Centre and a licensed Insolvency Practitioner.
He was a member of the Housing Finance Coorporation and a Member of the Sports Court of the Cyprus Football Federation.
Mr Hartsiotis also participates, as chairman or member, in various organisations, institutions and associations.
He is married and has one son
