Register new books in PIO Book Archive

If you have published a new book, you will have to submit it to the Press and Information Office (PIO), where a Book Archive is kept and all newly-published books are listed.

Specifically, the owner of the printing office which undertakes the printing of a book, is obliged, within a month from the completion of the printing, to submit three copies of the book to the PIO together with a completed form which includes all the details of the book. For the submission of the books a receipt is issued accordingly.

It is noted that the publisher of the book is obliged to furnish, in due time, the owner of the printing office with the necessary books.

The Press and Information Office publishes in the official newspaper of the Republic of Cyprus, every three months, the published books that are listed in the Book Archive.
