The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus pays working visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Constantinos Kombos, is travelling today to the Arab Republic of Egypt for a working visit that will take place on 4 and 5 June 2024.

During his stay in Cairo, Minister Kombos will meet tomorrow, Tuesday 4 June 2024, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr Sameh Shoukry. The two Ministers will hold a tête-à-tête meeting, followed by consultations in an extended format, with the participation of delegations from the two Ministries. Discussions will focus on Cyprus-Egypt bilateral relations, the Cyprus problem, EU-Egypt relations, as well as regional developments in the Middle East. Press statements will take place at the end of the consultations.

In the context of his visit, Minister Kombos will meet with the Secretary General of the Arab League, Mr Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
