The High Commissioner of Cyprus in Tanzania presents his credentials

The new High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus to the United Republic of Tanzania, based in Nairobi, Mr Savvas Vladimirou, presented his credentials to President Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan on 28 March 2025.
During the meeting with the President, the High Commissioner conveyed the warm greetings of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, and conveyed, among others, Cyprus’ willingness to further deepen bilateral relations with Tanzania and explore ways of economic cooperation and promotion of investment.
The President of Tanzania, in returning greetings to President Christodoulides, wished the new High Commissioner every success in his work, stressing that he will have the support of her and the Government, while expressing her country’s desire and will to deepen bilateral relations between the two countries.
