The Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the State of Kuwait presents his credentials

The new Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the State of Kuwait, Mr Andreas Panayiotou, presented his credentials to H.H. the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The official ceremony was followed by a brief meeting, during which the Ambassador conveyed the cordial greetings and warm wishes of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, for good health, happiness, and long life to the Emir of Kuwait, as well as continued progress and prosperity for the friendly people of Kuwait. At the same time, he expressed the readiness of the Government of the Republic of Cyprus to work towards the further development and strengthening of all Cyprus-Kuwait relations, assuring that he would make every effort to further promote and deepen the already excellent bilateral relations in all areas for the mutual benefit of the two countries and their people, with particular emphasis on official visits on both sides.
On his part, H.H. the Amir of Kuwait welcomed the Ambassador to the country and wished him every success in his duties, reciprocating the warm wishes and cordial greetings to the President of the Republic of Cyprus, while expressing his willingness to further strengthen bilateral relations between Cyprus and Kuwait at all levels.
