The Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to Iceland presents his credentials

The new Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to Iceland, with residence in Copenhagen, Mr Panayiotis Kyriacou, presented his credentials to the President of Iceland, Ms Halla Tómasdóttir, during an official ceremony held on 17 September 2025, at the Presidential Residence at Bessastaðir.
In the private audience that followed, the new Ambassador and the President exchanged views on bilateral issues. Mr Kyriacou conveyed to Ms Tómasdóttir the warm greetings of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, and extended an invitation to her to visit Cyprus. The President cordially accepted the invitation and conveyed her greetings to the President of the Republic of Cyprus.
