The Ambassador of Cyprus to Kazakhstan presents his credentials

The first resident Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr Petros T. Nacouzis, presented on Wednesday, 22 January 2025, together with eight other Ambassadors, his credentials to the President of Kazakhstan, Mr Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, during a special ceremony at the Presidential Palace.
Ambassador Nacouzis conveyed the warm greetings of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, which President Tokayev reciprocated.
After the presentation of credentials of the nine Ambassadors, President Tokayev in turn addressed a short welcoming speech, emphasising that Kazakhstan pursues a peace-promoting foreign policy, aimed at supporting peace and security both globally and regionally, noting that his country is an active player on the international arena, regularly hosting major events and meetings. President Tokayev underlined that as the largest economy in the region, Kazakhstan actively attracts investments from various countries, and that its market is open for economic cooperation.
