The Ambassador of Cyprus to China presents her credentials

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the People’s Republic of China, Mrs Frances-Galatia Lanitou Williams, presented her credentials, on 12 December 2024, to President Xi Jinping, in an official ceremony of group credentials of Heads of Mission based in Beijing.

During the ceremony, President Xi Jinping delivered a speech to all new Ambassadors, welcoming them and asking them to convey his warm wishes to the leaders and people of their respective countries.

In his speech, President Xi Jinping underlined China’s readiness to support the Ambassadors in their duties, adding that, through international collaboration, mutually beneficial growth and prosperity can be achieved.
