The President of the Republic participates in the deliberations of the second day of the Informal Summit of EU Heads of State and Government, in Versailles

The deliberations of the Informal Summit of Heads of State and Government of the EU member states, in which the President of the Republic, Mr Nicos Anastasiades, is participating, continue today for a second day in Versailles.

President Anastasiades arrived this morning at the Château de Versailles, where the deliberations of the informal summit are being held for a second consecutive day.

Among the issues that will be discussed today, during the summit, is the Ukrainian crisis, but also investment and growth in the light of the events in Ukraine.

A working lunch will follow, and the summit is expected to complete its deliberations in the afternoon.

The President of the Republic will then attend the ceremony in honour of the victims of terrorism, organised by the French Government.

The President of the Republic is accompanied in Paris by the Government Spokesman, Mr Marios Pelekanos, the Deputy Minister to the President, Mr Kyriakos Koushos, the Ambassador of the Republic in France, Mr George Chacalli, and government officials.
