Annual Increase 13,7%
The Statistical Service announces the publication of detailed data on the sales of commodities produced by industrial units in Cyprus in 2022, both in quantity (wherever this is possible) and in value terms.
During 2022, the total sales of industrial commodities of local production reached €4.289,6 million, compared to €3.774,2 million in 2021, registering an increase of 13,7%.
The sales from local industrial units of some indicative products were in 2022: halloumi cheese 44,0 thousand tonnes with value €309,1 million, pasteurised milk and fresh cream 59,7 million litres with value €79,2 million, fresh fruit juice 59,9 thousand tonnes with value €40,6 million, prepared meat products €45,3 million, fresh bakery and pastry products €320,3 million, beer 41,7 million litres with value €48,8 million, wines 11,8 million litres with value €36,4 million, soft drinks 12,6 million litres with value €17,0 million, bottled mineral water 189,0 million litres with value €35,3 million, chemical products €80,2 million, pharmaceutical products and preparations €324,7 million, cement and clinker €140,4 million and ready-mixed concrete 2,9 million cubic metres with value €202,0 million.
