The Statistical Service announces the publication of detailed data on the sales of commodities produced by industrial units in Cyprus in 2021, both in quantity (wherever possible) and in value terms.
During 2021 the total sales of industrial commodities of local production reached €3.774,2 million compared to €3.416,2 million in 2020, registering an increase of 10,5%.
The sales from local industrial units of some indicative products were in 2021: halloumi cheese 41,9 thousand tonnes with value €287,4 million, pasteurized milk and fresh cream 59,4 million litres with value €73,9 million, fresh fruit juice 55,3 thousand tonnes with value €34,9 million, prepared meat products €40,0 million, fresh bakery and pastry products €277,7 million, beer 35,8 million litres with value €41,1 million, wines 11,1 million litres with value €33,3 million, soft drinks 10,7 million litres with value €13,9 million, bottled mineral water 178,6 million litres with value €32,7 million, wearing apparel €11,1 million, pharmaceutical products and preparations €291,0 million, cement €99,5 million and ready-mixed concrete 3,0 million cubic metres with value €194,4 million.
