New Service: Issuance of Certificate of Economic Activity

The Statistical Service announces that, in the context of digital transformation and in an effort to upgrade the operation of the public sector, it is launching today a dedicated online tool that allows the issuance of a certificate of the main economic activity for companies registered in the Republic of Cyprus. The main economic activity of each company is coded according to the European Union Statistical Classification of Economic Activities (NACE Rev. 2).
By using this specific tool, a drastic reduction in the processing time of the various tasks is achieved and human and financial resources are saved, ensuring the highest quality and a faster and more effective service to citizens and businesses.
The tool is accessible on the web portal of the Statistical Service, from personal computers as well as from smartphones and tablets. The resulting certificate can either be printed or saved as a pdf file.
Interested parties can present this certificate to any public authority, wherever required.
