Newly arranged Archaeological Site at the location “Nisia” open to the public as of today

The Department of Antiquities of the Deputy Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Cyprus announces the creation of a newly arranged archaeological site at the location “Nisia” in Protaras, Paralimni. The site includes the remains of a Neolithic settlement, excavated on the hill overlooking Vyzakia beach.

With the new arrangement, visitors can access the archaeological site and learn about life in the Neolithic village and the excavation findings through informational and visual material displayed on signage.

The site is open to the public as of today Monday, 28 July 2025.
