We are pleased to announce that Costas Argyrou Museum has been shortlisted as one of the leading contenders for the European Museum Academy Art Museum Award – one of the most prestigious distinctions in the European museum landscape.
The Museum represents Cyprus as the sole institution of the island included in this year’s final list of nominees, thereby enhancing our country’s international cultural presence and recognition.
The award ceremony will take place this September in Budapest as part of the annual conference of the European Museum Academy, co-hosted by the Hungarian Money Museum and Visitor Centre.
This recognition stands as a significant affirmation of the mission and vision of the Costas Argyrou Museum Foundation. At the same time, it reinforces our sense of responsibility to continue, with dedication and consistency, our work to highlight the cultural heritage of Cyprus – through the preservation and promotion of the legacy of the country’s first renowned naïve sculptor.
