The Deputy Commissioner of Communications was speaker at a European workshop on postal services issues

Mr Petros Galides, Deputy Commissioner of Communications, in his capacity as Chairman of the Body of European Regulators for Postal Services (ERGP) for 2023, was a speaker at a Workshop organized by CEFTA (Central European Free Trade Agreement), in collaboration with the European Commission and ERGP, on October 19^th 2023 in Thessaloniki.

Mr Galides explored the issue of the independence of the regulatory authorities and emphasized its importance in the exercise of their regulatory role for the development of competition, consumer protection and for the benefit of the economy and society in general.
