Curriculum vitae of the new Commissioner for the Development of Mountain Communities, Mr Charalambos Christofinas

Mr Charalambos Christofinas was born in Kyperounda on 29/03/1966. He holds a Degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the Athens Law School.
He worked at the Water Development Department from 1985 to 1999. During his studies, he worked at the company Louis Sbarro HELLAS SA. Since 2007, he has been active in the private sector in a company providing services in the construction sector.
In 1993 he served as a Member of the Provincial Council of the Youth of the Democratic Rally (NEDISY) of Lemesos and from 1996 to 1999 he served as Assistant Provincial Secretary of NEDISY of Lemesos. He also served for five years as Vice-President of the “Cultural Committee of Kyperounda” and as a Member of the Committee of the Kyperounda Cooperative Bank from 2005 to 2007.
He is married and father of three children: Maria 19 years old, Alexandros 18 years old, and Theofania 11 years old.
Since 2018, he has been a permanent resident of Kyperounda.
