Announcement by the Office of the Law Commissioner regarding the release, in electronic form, of the updated edition of the Index of Treaties of the Republic of Cyprus 1960-2023

The Office of the Law Commissioner announces that the updated edition of the Index of Treaties of the Republic of Cyprus 1960-2023 has been released in electronic form. The Index comprises two catalogues. The first catalogue constitutes a comprehensive record of the bilateral treaties binding on the Republic of Cyprus from its establishment onward. The second catalogue includes all multilateral treaties binding on the Republic (including EU treaties that have been ratified by Cyprus in accordance with article 169 of the Constitution).

The compilation of the Index is a continuous endeavour and aims to provide a tool of reference to legal professionals, researchers, diplomats, as well as to every citizen of the Republic.

The Index has been posted on the website of the Office of the Law Commissioner under the “International Treaties” pillar.
