Announcement by the Department of Forests regarding aerial spraying to combat the Pine Processionary Caterpillar insect

The Department of Forests of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that aerial spraying against the insect “Pine Processionary Caterpillar” will be carried out during the period from December 2023 to January 2024 in forested areas.

The aerial spraying will start at 07:30 and finish at 14:30.

Affected residents and authorities will be informed by individual notice on time.
