Who we are
The Department for Social Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities (DSID) was established on 1.1.2009. Its main purpose is to promote the social protection, social integration and employment of persons with disabilities. Its vision is to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and to create new prospects for their social inclusion through the appropriate planning, coordination and implementation of reform actions. Until 31.12.2022, DSID was under the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance. Since 01.01.2023 the Department was transferred to the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare.
